Documents – how the work came into being

I want to thank Sylvain Boutet, the director without whom this audiovisual trilogy would not have seen the light of day. Indeed, I can assure you that the 3 following clips were shot without any special effects. For the first one, talent and discretion are needed to succeed in filming Robert Masson in real life. I guess we completely forgot the cameraman was there.

So you will see, step by step, the transcription of a traditional melody that was buried in the memory of this sailor from Molène, then the harmonization work, and finally Pierre-Yves Moign’s orchestration. All this work led to the “Bugel ar mor” theme from the BRETAGNE symphony, performed by the Brittany orchestra.
